[efax-users] Problem with long faxes

Hi,

Using efax, we are getting a "no command/response from remote" error message while sending faxes with more than 4 pages. We have tried with class 1 & class 2 modems (on board multi-tech modems) and also with US Robotics External Fax Modem (V.90 56K standard, Model 0701). Faxing was unsuccessful with all of these modems, although the number of pages sent by efax is different for each one. I have also tested with development release (efax-0.9a-001114) and had the same problem.

Examining the log, the issue looks like e-fax is expecting "CONNECT" as response for "+FRH=3" command. On the successful pages, this is what the efax receives, whereas on the failed page the log shows "OK" as the response instead of "CONNECT".

Has anyone seen this problem? Can anyone suggest a solution for this problem?
